Its September soon, which is my favourite time of year and not only that, its my birthday. YAY!!!! Which brings me onto the topic of presents. Lets just say that I am definitely not a present grinch. I looooooove receiving presents. About as much as I love giving them.
Cameron, my husband, who you will get the pleasure of meeting soon has asked me what I would like for my birthday. Hhmmm!!
I was thinking that I might like a macrame plant holder.
I'm going to hang it in the kitchen window. Ill show you when and if I receive such a lovely gift. (I think I'm just going to get it regardless! he he)
Ive decided a maiden hair fern will be perfect for a plant choice. It will get some morning sun, and strategically it is right next to the sink so it shall never be forgotten to be watered. In theory of course! It will look also look great and hey, the more air cleaning and purifying machines at work in this kitchen the better!
Yes, I think that will be a good choice. So dainty and lacy and cool. (temperature cool that is, not nanna cool).
I have one hanging in the front porch. I bought it recently at Garden club for a bargain 2$. It has lost a lot of leaves from transplant shock, but I have kept the water up to it and with all the rain of late it is coming back. I know, I really do need to get a new pot. But i like it and its still alive. Front porch fern will have macrame envy once my kitchen fern is in.
If your indoor plant inclined; What would you or are you growing inside?
How cool is macrame!
