The Hilton for Hens17:37:00
Gday and how are you this fine and windy day?
I bought the September issue of Taste.com.au magazine last week and have finally had a chance to have a flick through the pages today.
I must say its been great reading. Not only for the recipes of course but its very funky looking with a great layout and has some non foodie content in there as well. I've even gone and added the Blippar app to my phone which has added yet another dimension to the reading experience. Gosh I need more time in the day! However, before i go right off on a tangent with this magazine and its wonder today, I want to turn your attention to page 123.
You know the River Cottage chef Hugh Fearnley-Whittingslow? Well he is on this page. I love his series of River Cottage chef so of course the article was going to be good before I even had to read it. He gives a little bit of an insight into the delights of having chickens. This then leads in to the next part of the article on the following page where it gets even better and that is what I am wanting to share with you today.
Chook Sheds. A humble abode.
Where your chickens roost and bunker down for the night.
How about this for a palace?
WOW yeah? Isn't it fantastic? I love it and cant believe it is actually for chooks.
