This time: A Liebster Award14:28:00
Well I'll be.
Do you recall my post here about the Versatile Bloggers Award. A very nice award indeed!
On the last Thursday of July, I was passed the blogging baton once again, this time with an acknowledgement via an award called the Liebster Award.
Naturally, I really am happy as well as kind of surprised with this award. You, actual real people from all over the countryside are here reading my posts out of all the other blogs that are out there, and are genuinely interested in what is happening here in the Paddock. It makes me all warm and fuzzy inside. He he.
As I approach a year into this caper it sure gives me lots of reassurance and encouragement to keep going, which I plan too. I really do enjoy it. To my family who check in on posts, my Facebook and Google+ entourage, my commenters and those I comment to. Thanks a million. Hopefully I will get to meet some of you one day.
A special mention of course to my nominator Deb from Nourish Nation. I have just stumbled upon her blog recently and I think I could learn a thing or two on healthy eating and keeping life simple.
Whilst I wait for something, anything at all to happen in my nether-regions I thought id do my bit. As with all these types of awards doing the circuit it comes with some answering of questions devised by Deb and for all of us the chance to stumble upon some other lovely blogs. Here goes, lets share the blogging love.
1. What nourishes you?
Milk. Chocolate milkshakes and milo. During this pregnancy especially, I can't get enough of the stuff. Full cream all the way.
2. Are you a morning or night person?
Definetely a night person.
3. What sport would you love to do?
I have dabbled in plenty of sports and I think Id like to learn this golf caper. Can you play left handed??
4. Favourite TV series?
Call in the midwife. Its probably the only one I regularly watch. Oh and Gardening Australia.
5. The perfect day for you is?
At the moment Id say its when the kids eat all the food given to them and it keeps them in a happy mood. Then, when in the afternoon slump, they both have an hour snooze at the same time and I get something ticked off the list for 'me'. Like a sewing project, internet, internet shopping, some gardening or even enjoying a piece of cake, a coffee and read my favourite magazine. Knocking over a blog post or two is also up there.
6. Gold or silver jewellery fan?
Gold since my marriage loot was slipped on my fingers. I have to be matching!!
7. Your favourite quote is…?
I honestly can't say I have a particular one. I am not a motivating mantra type of quote person. I am enjoying all the funny ones about motherhood and drinking that are floating around on the social networking circuit though.
8. What musical has taken your breath away?
I really enjoyed Queen The Musical.
9. The most inspirational person in your eyes is…?
It changes all the time. I have lots of successful sports people as my inspiration.
10.What would you name a new pet dog?
That is actually a funny question for me. Though I think dogs are lovely creatures, (small, cuddly and friendly of course,) I am actually opposed to getting one. I loathe the thought of cleaning up dog poo in the yard all the time. The chooks are bad enough. I have nothing for you on this one...
Now I understand this is an award that keeps on giving and is to be passed on to the next awesome bloggers out there. However I feel I would be doing a pete, repeat* again and I am happy in the knowledge that I have completed my blogging honours via The Versatile Bloggers Award. So what I will do is send you via a link and you can check out the four amazing and interesting bloggers I acknowledged in my Versatile Bloggers Award post here.
No baby to be seen as yet. Hurry up baby Ross!!
Have you received any awards lately? Cmon, its time to gloat!
Thanks for visiting today
