The Windmill Wine-Down: Tarzali Wine Giveaway

08:48:00

I arrived a tiny bit early to my High Tea soiree last Saturday before everyone arrived so that I could not only take a few snaps of the lovely table settings but to also have a little peek at the the latest 'Abstract' exhibition that is currently displayed at the gallery.

I am certainly no art critic by any means. I go on a 'I like what I see' basis when it comes to looking at art. You either like a piece or you don't. You are drawn into a piece or you may just shake your head and say surely that is not art!
I will let you know that I have not done any formal art classes since Year 10 at high school but I am going to make the call and say that I believe some abstract art you see looks like something I myself could have painted, let alone something that Hugh could easily pump out in an afternoon session up to his elbows in Crayola crayons.

However, there is always beauty in the eye of the beholder and I must say I initially liked this painting in the exhibition because of the colours and that lovely pink. The figure on the right even made me think of a flamingo. Yes, I am slightly obsessed.

Then afterwards when I was uploading all the pics from Saturday, I was debating whether to use the picture as part of Saturdays post and then once again I started thinking of pink and my love of flamingos and as you can see from the pic below and without realising it, I seem to have accumulated a few items*, (some pending) over the last few weeks for Edie and myself that fit this theme perfectly.

And then I thought BAM! This flamingo-pink thing going on is going to be the inspiration for my giveaway to my lovely readers to celebrate a year of blogging and to say thanks for following along. I did a little 'product placement' if you didn't notice above with a bottle of our wine and that my friends is up for grabs for one lucky reader of The Windmill Paddock. It was the pink. Its perfect!

'This wine has beautiful salmon colouring and the delightful aromas of fruit
and complex spices.'

If you enjoy your wine and would like to get your mittens on a 750ml bottle of our very own 2014 Tarzali Tempranillo-Sangiovese Rose to try yourself, all you have to do is comment on this post by finishing this sentence...

Laugh and the whole world laughs, drink wine and ...

This is a game of skill and I will be selecting my favourite response and announcing the winner next Friday the 3rd October.

A 'like' on the Windmill Paddock Facebook page and Tarzali Vineyard's wouldn't go astray either, but is not essential however you MUST be over 18 to even get a look in on this one. Its the law.

Everyone is welcome to join in on the comment fun, however I am only able to post Australia wide so if you live OS please be mindful of this as I won't be able to post wine to you.

You can find more information about our wine and the vineyard here and here.

Good Luck and once again thank you very much for following along.
Thanks for visiting today.
Elisha

You will most likely find me either pottering out in the garden or out walking with the kids. I solve all the worlds problems over good wine and coffee. I dream of a huge island bench in my kitchen, a swimming pool and endless sunshine. Country living really is the best.
