A portrait of my children, once a week, every week in 2015.
Hugh, Edith and Oliver: Who could resist a freshly raked up pile of autumn leaves? Neither of you and it was a delight to watch.
So I may have set this photo shoot up just a little bit but it was a photo opportunity in waiting and it was so funny watching them. The good thing now is that I have a huge pile of leaves sitting out front which is now my mulch and compost for the garden beds.
Not only are trees in our front yard looking brilliant but many trees in all parts of the town are looking absolutely amazing, particularly in the late afternoon light over the last week. I am hoping it lasts just a little bit longer as I am loving taking pics, trying to capture it exactly as I see it.
Its any wonder I haven't filled my Instagram or Facebook feeds full of all this Autumn goodness yet.
As usual, joining in on The 52 Project over at Practising Simplicity.
