The 52 Project: 2/52 & 3/5220:23:00
Hugh and Edith: I walked outside to put the clothes on the line and there you were up on the trampoline doing a bit of garden maintenance. You thought it would be nice to start helping with the pruning and with a pair of secateurs each, happily chopped the dangling branches of the Lily Pilly tree.
Oliver: You too had to get up on the trampoline and help. You happily picked up the cuttings and put them in the green bin that I strategically placed next to the trampoline.
Oliver and Edith: You both came for a drive with Dad and I to the vineyard to drop him off at the tractor. You followed me over to where I was taking some pics of the Sav Blanc and were happy to take a seat in the shade under the vine and smile away.
Ollie with is new trademark 'cheese' smile and Edith just casually smiling, never giving too much away. Especially whilst the mother is shouting out stupid words to try and make them laugh.
We are all encouraging Oliver to copy the words we speak in order to start this talking business. Do you think he will listen to his mother? No way!
When Edie and Hugh say the exact words that I do, guess who begins to chime in with them?
It really is quite funny and 'cheese' is one of these words. I was making the kids laugh while taking these last pics and was yelling out 'banana' and all sorts of banter. Edie said it once and Ollie chimed in straight afterwards with 'na-na'.
He will be talking in no time all.
