The Windmill Wine-Down is back.20:42:00
Hello there. How is everything going in your corner of the world?
I am a bit nervous about posting this today. Its been a while since I've put my wine hat on to talk about the wine side of things here. Talking the talk, the wino talk is a whole new world of lingo, nuances, noses and roses. Or Rose's as they say!!
My Windmill Wine-Down idea way back when was a complete failure. You know, the one where I was going to share and learn about all things wine? Ha!! How did I possibly think I could manage that segment, researching, drinking and reading about all things wine with a baby and now three toddlers running under my feet all day long? (I haven't stopped drinking the fine stuff you'll be pleased to know and five o'clock can't come sooner some days!!)
However, like all things on this blog, its always evolving and now this segment is back in its own little way and Im rather pleased about that. Cheshire cat pleased at that!
For now, Im hoping this will be a great way to showcase our different wines throughout the year and to tell you a little bit about them in an informal sort of way. A producers take so to speak and to share with you all how we enjoy our wine here at Tarzali!!
If you need a little flash back on the story of the vineyard you may want to head back to this, and this post from the archives, and I will be posting here very soon for the very first of my 'wine of the month' post. In the meantime you may want to have a look at our brand new website that we recently launched. Just click on the pic below to take you to the page.
A huge THANK YOU must also go to Dan and Alycia, our wonderful friends at Ellis Creative for all their hard work to get it up and running and looking mighty fabulous. We are proud as punch to be on the airwaves.
We have yet to add the very new Tarzali Shiraz to the site, but it is certainly available for purchase. Its on the top of the list of jobs to do.
I have also been busy collaborating on a new online wine magazine called 'Est Wine Tours'. The magazine is available to download on your iPhones and iPads and aims to showcase all the great wine regions of the world, but also to promote and showcase the many great vineyards, wineries and the great stories within these regions. My very first Postcard as part of the magazine has just been published this week on The Goulburn Valley Wine Region.
I feel a few winery visits are on the cards in the coming months ahead.
If you go to the Apple App Store and type in 'Est wine Tours' you can download it for FREE and read all the great things out there on the wine trail. It may even inspire you to get out and see some of these wineries for yourself.
As you can see, I have been very busy, but its all very exciting indeed.
Do check in soon or follow me at The Windmill Paddock or on the Tarzali Facebook page to keep updated on the very first 'Wine of The Month' post coming here soon.
Also, dont forget to post a picture to your own Instagram and Facebook pages with the hashtag #tarzalivineyard if you just so happen to have a glass of Tarzali in your glass.
We do love to see you all enjoying our wine.
Thanks for visiting today.
